fun_like_thatOMG OMG OMGOMMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. Twilight trailer! TWILIGHT TRAILER! I know the movie is going to be so bad and cheesy, just like the books, only LIVE AND IN COLOUR but HOLY SHIT. I SO want to see that movie. RIGHT NOW. I remember reading the blow-by-blow someone involved with the movie posted to IMDB, I think, about the teaser (and likely got fired over) and it was amazing then. It was even more amazing SEEING the damn thing.

spn_j2_bigbang, which kinda sucks, but there are WAAAAAAY fewer artists (like, less than half? Maybe? Does anyone know the exact numbers?) than writers this year so it's to be expected. 112 fics, people! 112! How awesome is that? My fic is near the bottom of the list on the J2 list so it's easy to be overlooked, especially when people are skimming through, trying to find the first fic that catches their fancy to claim it before someone else does.

Holy crap. This episode had SO MUCH going on for it. It was awesome, lots of twists and turns.
I'm still not 100% buying the Georgina thing. She's just... she's Michelle Trachtenberg, you know? I think the role would have worked much better with someone else, perhaps not as well know, cast in it. I keep seeing her as a bitchy, 14 y/o Dawn from Buffy and that just doesn't work for me. I also find it boring that she's making nice with Dan and ... Dammit, I keep wanting to call her Jessica--Vanessa! If Georgina could come how get Dan into bed with her and make him do dirtybad things then THAT would be interesting and fun. If she's just playing house with them... not so much.
I have to admit, the ending where Serena confessed I laughed. The music, the over-dramatic confessional... it was all so over the top. And the confession itself, I mean, COME ON. I totally semi-called it last week, too: Obviously the "big secret" hasn't been revealed yet (who thinks it's a dead body? Or Georgina fucking a dead body? Hands? Anyone? Beuller? Who's hoping it's Georgina fucking a dead body? Hands? Anyone? No one? Just me? Okay, then). It's just so over the top and obviously isn't going to turn out to impact Serena any. OR in the finale she'll pull a Buffy circa s2 and run off to LA to become a waitress named Anne. Or, in her case, off to the yacht of some anonymous rich guy she knew who won't ask questions and she'll sun her summer away.
I wasn't sure Eric's coming out was going to be as big a thing as it turned out to be. And the way it did was AWESOME. It sucks royally that Georgina was the one to break the news, especially to Eric's family, but holy impact, batman.
I wonder what's going to happen with Jenny's character now. Her story arc for the season seems over for now, at least. There are only... two more eps this season? So there's not much time to introduce anything more for her, imo, especially since she's declared defeat to Blair. I hope she doesn't pull a Julie from Friday Night Lights, though, and just change and become super bitchy for no reason. I'd rather her be social-climbing bitchy than just generally sullen and depressing.
The scene between Blair and Jenny at Blair's penthouse made me wonder what Blair had to do to get where she is now. There were obviously cliques before her and Jenny's proof that there will be cliques after. I wonder if Blair had to give up anything to get where she is and if so, what it was. She's got the money that instantly thrusts her into the spotlight but a lot of the kids at their school are rich and they aren't, obviously anyway, in the group or even hangers on, wanting to be involved. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it but Blair's look and her words just seemed to imply to me that there's something more there. Either way, I really wonder what's in store for Jenny.
Good lord I hope Serena and Dan break up soon, for good. Her moping around, worried about what Dan's going to think when he finds out about her and what not isn't really interesting or angsty to me. These type of storylines where someone thinks they have to hide a secret that really isn't that bad irritate me. JUST TELL SOMEONE. At least Blair knows now, as laughable as that whole scene was.
I missed Chuck in this episode. I wanted more Serena/Chuck interaction. Bring on the dirtybad step-sib wrongness!
I have to wonder, though, was Asher SUPPOSED to be hot or something? Because to me he looked like a kinda-beefy guy in dorky clothing with BAD hair. He was never cute to me, but I could be missing the gene that attracts me to rich snobby assholes, I dunno. And clearly he turned out to be quite the catch! Self-hating is so out, dude. I liked that Blair didn't send the messages to GG until Eric said to do it. That sort of stuff makes me like Blair. And also! I totally called that Eric confided to Chuck about being gay before he did to anyone else. Score.
Re: Rufus and Lily. Whatevs. They won't get together for awhile, so they're not overly interesting to me. Cute, sure, but nothing more yet. Kelly Rowland is adorable, though. I didn't quite get the Spitzer joke until the second time around, though, LOL. I thought it was referencing something else from the show, but nope.
I hope next week turns out to be as twisty and awesome as this week!

I appreciate every single comment I get on my cap posts. There are often too many comments to respond to every single one of them but I try my best to respond to any questions somewhat promptly (month-old comments ftl!). It takes me well over 3 hours from downloading to posting to get all the caps up, and usually moreso to finish the galleries, but it only takes a few seconds to leave a comment saying 'thanks'. It may not seem like much but I like seeing that people enjoy the effort. :)

I read in an interview somewhere that he's like- the ladies man of the set or something along those lines. He's just so wee! I can't picture it at all.
Yeah, okay. Who's the one who ISN'T Hazel? The dark haired one who wanted Nate? I can NEVER remember her name and always think she's Hazel because the name seems to suit her. IDK.
