Caps: True Blood 301 "Bad Blood" (974), 1280x720, review & picspam
Tomorrow it's supposed to be 26 degrees and I am SO EXCITED. Today it was very warm and I didn't take advantage of it. Partly because there were so many weird people in and around the house that I preferred to hide in my room, partly because I was being a hermit and partly because I was lazy. But I walked on Saturday night so that's something. And I'll walk tomorrow, I think. Maybe. We'll see.
I finished watching season 1 of Sports Night on dvd. I miss that show but I can see why it was cancelled, unfortunately. Now I'm started on the complete series of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. God Matthew Perry is hot. I don't know how well his new series will do this fall (Lucky man or something? Something with luck in it, I think) but I'll watch at least a couple eps to see how it goes. I enjoy him.
I don't have much to say about this episode. I like True Blood but it's almost like I don't realize how much I like it until it comes back on for its run.
I think I like Sookie and Bill being separated. I find them a bit insufferable at times when they're together, him telling her what she shouldn't do for her own good and her doing it anyway and then getting pissed off at him.
I was worried that Jessica was going to go on a human-killing spree so I'm glad she has remorse. I hope she and Hoyt can work things out. I hope he grows some balls.
Jason always gets himself into the most outrageous predicaments. Also? Ryan Kwanten sounds SO DIFFERENT with his Australian accent, I can't believe it. Even the tone of his voice changes. He sounds so much younger as Jason and so much older and refined in his normal voice. He could talk to me any day.
It seems like Tara and Sookie spend more time not being friends than they do being them. I don't know what to make of Tara's frame of mind right now and where she's going to be this season. It would be nice for someone else to get dumped on for once but poor Tara just keeps getting the shit.
Lafayette was awesome in this ep, as was Pam. They should make a spin off with mini webisodes, like they did the past 8 weeks, and just focus on Lafayette and Pam. Her purse when she told Lafayette to push the V was gorgeous and I covet it.
That scene between Bill and Sam? SO EROTIC AND AWKWARD! Erotically awkward? Awkwardly erotic? Awrotic? I mean, on the one hand I was like- WOO! Get it, boys! But on the other hand it's Sam and he's so NOT and it's Bill and he's so SOOKEH! And the two of them together just made me giggle like I was five. I would enjoy further exploration of Sam's dreams, fo sho.
I don't know what to think about the introduction of the werewolves. I think I'm intrigued. I haven't read the books and don't want to (couldn't even get through the first one!) so I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how this unwraps.

As of 12:30 MST set 4 is still uploading but will be done in 10 minutes

Arlene was kinda the worst in this episode. Worse than normal.

There was so much... STUFF in this episode!

I haven't seen the finale in a while so I can't really make a good comparison between the way Evan Rachel Wood played the Queen in that ep versus this episode but the role felt way less awkward here. She was still pretty over the top and I dont' see how the Magitrate or whoever the dude was wasn't all- Bitch, please- at what she was saying, but she felt more comfortable in the role tonight.

WAAAAAAANT her purse.

I loved Pam tonight. Seriously. Her whole, "no. Sookie. Don't. Come back." was amazing, and her glee when Sookie went, "Holy Ass!" Priceless.
