I didn't really like it. I just don't buy Owen suddenly sinking into this feeling of general hatred and the desire to end his life. I just. don't. buy it. He has issues, yes. He has problems coming out of his ass and a lot of it is related to his job. However after last week and him "falling in love" with Diane (that was her name, right?) this just seems so absolutely dumb.

Gwen... one week I like her, the next I hate her. I guess I just hate that they're writing her in extremes which automatically makes me think "Mary Sue". I'm more frustrated than angry with her. I understand why she drugged Rhys and it's her own desperate attempt to absolve herself of her sins but seriously- WHAT THE FUCK? She's got serious responsibility issues as far as accepting blame and admitting failure.

I liked the ending, though. With Owen in with the Weevils and ... asserting his dominance? That was kinda hot. Don't really understand where that's coming from and/or going but it was interesting.

I'm moving further into the Jack/Ianto camp.

I wanted to get these caps up before I went to bed because I don't know how much time I'll have to do this tomorrow. And tomorrow evening I'll be concentrating on the Doctor Who Christmas special! *wibble!foams*

I'm excited for tomorrow because, you know, it's Christmas (which actually doesn't mean THAT much with me because anyone who knows me knows that I'm actually not all that jazzed over Christmas) but it also means that we get to have breakfast. It's not like I'm deprived of breakfast the other 364 days a year but it's something we've ALWAYS done- eggs and bacon and toast and juice and we all sit around after the gifts and have breakfast together. It's the best part, imo.
