Caps: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip 1x01 and 1x02

So in celebration of Supernatural coming back tonight (TONIGHT!) what am I doing? Staying up until 4.30 in the morning trying to get zips of caps uploaded. I've found a workable process on this computer but the damn thing is so ... decrepit (which it isn't even, it's just more than four years old and only has a 60-80GB HD and can't handle the stress I put it under because I'm so used to Babette) that it takes forever to do anything. BUT. I have done it and I now have lots and lots of caps from the pilot and second episodes of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip which is easily my favourite new show of the season.

I'm not sure how well the caps came out in comparison to my usual ones. This monitor's darker than I'm used to and the resolution's bigger but since the file was HD I don't think there should be that much difference in quality.

The zips are split up this time around because of the number of caps I made, although the size isn't that bad, even in total. It was easier for me to upload them separately but if you really want a full zip of all the caps for each episode I'll see what I can do.

Please leave a comment if you're taking some/all of the caps. It's the non-douchebag thing to do. It was seriously quite a feat to get these capped/converted/zipped/uploaded so a quick 'thank you' would be nice. :)

SPN CHAT!

Okay, so if you're like me and the other people on my buddylist you're twitching and almost peeing with excitement and anticipation. I realize there are still FOUR HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES left before the show airs but HOMG DON'T CARE!

So, tonight's chat name is OMGWTFSPN. I probably won't invite people I have on my list for the SPN chats just yet (I'll likely wait a couple hours) because let's face it, there are some SANE people out there who are fans of the show and are calmly waiting for a more reasonable time to come chat. BUT if you WANT to come feel free. You can invite yourself or IM Marishnas and I'll try to get you in. The only thing is that I've switched to Trillian and it seems 50/50 with inviting people and I WILL be away from the computer soon so it would probably be best to invite yourself.

To do that: at the bottom of your buddy list there's a button called chat (whodathunk?). Click it and put YOUR s/n in the box for the names of the invitees. Put OMGWTFSPN in the chat name and invite! It should let you right in. If you have issues try and IM me or leave a comment and someone will help you out.

Just a couple tiny guidelines, however. Some people who are going to the chat are VERY spoiler phobic. This includes even the promos for the next episode at the end of the premiere. PLEASE don't talk about them in the chat. It's just easier that way rather than asking some people not to watch the chat for awhile or whatever. Obviously, any other spoilers are not allowed either.

If you have a background colour set up on your programme we request that you change it to white. Some people find it VERY hard to see text on coloured background and sometimes it can overtake the comments below it and generally be a nusiance.

Other than that, come in, squee, fangirl, try to keep things on an SPN track so everyone can be included and HAVE FUN! If you'd like to leave your s/n for invites in the future you can do so here. :D :D :D
