This was a really good ep. Everyone was so pretty! Also, we need to see Abruzzi in a suit more often. Yum! I get a kick out of this new Quinn guy, too. The only thing that really, really sucks about this show is that it's hosted on a total void of a network. What the hell is up, Fox? Putting one of your best shows on a six-month hiatus for... what, exactly? A waning fanbase, little viewership come May, a viewership that will be frustrated and pissed off at your total lack of support for this show? For what? For a few shitty reality tv shows that are a dime by the dozen and can't sustain a proper audience beyond one frickin' season? Right. That's some smart thinking, Fox. You bunch of typewriting monkeys. /mini-rant

Are you sure its six months? Maybe FOX will just move it to 9pm when 24 begins in January. Arrested Development and Kitchen Confidential are only on schedule until the mid-season.

I just read the new Entertainment Weekly today and . . . guess what? There's a sizeable article about Fox's decision to hold off Prison Break until May. They offer solutions and discuss how this is a bad move. I think they mention DVDs in there somewhere, too. But search it out if you want. It's a good article.

Fox may have struck out with the World Series (the least watched ever), but it's not complaining. For the first time in nearly a decade, the network's fall series have survived the buzz — and ratings — killing baseball hiatus: Year 2 of House is booming, Bones and The War at Homeare steady performers, and Prison Break is a developing hit. But with the return of American Idol and 24 in January, Fox has a problem: After Break airs its 13th episode on Nov. 28, there's no place to put the remaining nine episodes until May. A hiatus that long could be risky for the breakout drama. It's a little early in the show's run to ask for that much viewer patience — after all, it's not The Sopranos. So insiders say Fox may reconsider, either by moving Break up to 8 p.m. on Mondays this winter — which could mean shuffling House and perhaps Bones from their intended slots in January — or waiting until early spring to give it a new day and time.

The continuous run would surely please the 9 million fans who are captivated by the serialized tale of two brothers' feverish quest to break out of the big house. Creator Paul Scheuring has intimated that the title-making event will occur in the season's two-hour finale, but there's been some speculation that it could happen as early as the end of this month. The fact is, no one can get a straight answer out of Fox. So break or Break? Allow us to offer a solution: Keep the show on the air and move it to the viewer graveyard formerly known as Friday, where another addictive Fox drama, The X-Files, once gained quite a cult following. If networks weren't so quick to give up on Friday the way they have on Saturday (now home to nothing but CSI reruns and the 78th season of Cops), we'd be happy to turn on the TV.

And I totally agree with you about the break. My roommate and I are so mad at Fox. Me especially since they do things like this all the time. That's why I'm always wary to get into a show that's on Fox, but most of the time, I can't help it.

Those are great caps. I was wondering what program you used. I'm using irfanview, which I love because it gets everything, but yours seem a bit more crisp in certain areas.

Abruzzi's head tilt near the end there was one of my favourite parts.

I use BS Player for things that I DL. I prefer it to PowerDVD which I have to use to cap dvds. I also use VLC player for some files with funky file extensions and it seemed to do alright. But BS Player for sure. I swear by it. If only it capped dvds, though.

When you have a moment or two, could you please tell me how to cap with VLC? I've fiddled around with it a little bit off and on for a while now and yet nothing. Basically, I'm useless when it comes to things like that. But I would really appreciate knowing how. :)

I think it's Ctrl+Alt+either a or s. I can't remember right off hand. I had to go to the VLC forums to find out exactly how to do it. Also, if you have any but a certain type of windows (again, don't remember) the caps won't save to any folder that you specify. They'll just go to your general pictures folder and then you have to move them from there.

I'd strongly recommend BS Player for any media files other than dvds, if you're capping. It's much simpler to use and you can specify folders to put your caps into.
