So, apparently, we're the fandom that DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO STOP WANKING. And it's getting rather, um- what's the word? OLD AND FUCKING ANNOYING. I love a good wank as much as the next person but for the love of Sam and Dean, can you space them out a little, people? I feel like I have an intestinal block from all this splooge.
Know what's a fun alternative to wanking? GLEEING! My bestest best
dorkdance is having a gleefest over in her journal but it's only fun if people actually, you know, GLEE. So spread the word, tell a friend and go over there to share what you love about this fandom and the people in it, eh?
Hey, see if you can stump me on my own fics, eh? If you do you win a bright, shiny drabble of some sort. See details here.
1. If Dean were setting up Sam on a blind date, what kind of girl would he pick out? Feel free to include details like appearance, personality, hobbies, oddities, etc.
I think Dean would do a better job of picking someone out for Sam than vice versa, honestly. I don't know really what kind of girl he'd pick for Sam, based on the criteria asked for but I think Dean would take it seriously, because hey- he's been trying to get his brother laid for like- a year now. But now that I think about it, he'd probably pick some girl who's actually in some sort of danger or something and although Sam would like her, it wouldn't last because she's an annoying screamer or something.
2. If Sam were setting up Dean on a blind date?
Sam would try to go for someone different than Dean would normally choose, obvs. Trying to make him see the other side of the girls Dean usually goes for. And I thik Dean would end up really liking her, too, but he loves his brother ore than any girl and it would never last. The end.
3. When was Dean's first date? How did it go? Where did they go? How long did it last? Anything else?
I don't think Dean's first date would even have really been a "date". He probably was just like- Well, I'm going to be there too, so why don't you sit with me, or something, and then he kissed her before the end of the night. I think Dean would have been way more casual than smooth at that age. If that makes sense. And it would have lasted for a few hand holds in the HS hallways (cause I think he would have been 15-ish for his first "date") but then he either would have kept his distance or moved. And if he moved the "break up" was probably something like- Hey, I'm gettin' out of here. Catch you later.
4. How do you imagine John and Mary met?
At the soda shoppe or something equally as corny and cheesy? No, really. I actually wrote how I thought they met here in A Pink Carnation and a Pickup Truck. I really think they met after he returned from war and she was gorgeous and quiet with a smile that knocked him off his feet. And they lived happily ever after. Er... *uncomfortable* Yeah. My bad.
5. How do you imagine Sam and Jess met?
At a party. I was thinking a beach party. Her friend was so drunk she got sick down by the water where Sam was standing, sort of, so Jess was all- "Oh, hey. Sorry for my friend hurling into the water that's now washing over your feet. Why are you down here all alone, in the dark and being so anti social?" And Sam went, "I'm not much into parties. It's not my thing but I figured I might as well try it this year since last year, during my freshman year, I was so bookwormish and studious that everyone thought I was weird and freaky so I'm trying to get over that." And Jess would be all, "Oh, hee hee!" and think he's cute cause Sam's got that awesome smile. And then Sam would be all, "Is your friend dead?" Jess would be all *kicks her without Sam seeing* "I don't know, I'd better take her back up the beach." And Sam would offer to help her cause he's a gentleman and all. Then someone would take the friend back to her dorm to pass out and drown in her own vomit while Sam and Jess stayed on the beach until sunrise and they realized they were in luuuuurve a few months later. And they all lived happily ever after. Oh, right. This is getting awkward.
