I was just excited to see an update because by the time I watched the original I was so desensitized to horror that I found it boring and fell asleep. I can recognize it as a classic and one of the movies that really represented good, suspenseful horror but as a movie I was bored. So I thought maybe the Rob Zombie version might freak me out a little.
TOTALLY WRONG. I think I only jumped once through the whole thing and it was one of those- OMG SOMETHING JUMPED OUT OF NOWHERE! There was no suspense and by the end of it I was throwing my hands in the air and sighing because the characters were retarded. It wasn't scary, it didn't make any sense... ugh. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
no offense but that's something I've never understood...how anyone who's not a fan of the original could even want to see this movie. I ONLY want to see it because I'm a fan of the original.

okay i saw a work print of it and it didn't have the twist ending...can you msg me or something and tell me what that ending is in the theatrical version?
