Once upon a time (well, April 11th)

gwentastic was doing that icon meme thing where they post icons people picked for them to explain, then they offer to do it for other people. And I threw my name in there.

A month later I'm finally doing it. *facepalm*

SO. If you'd like me to pick some of your icons to explain leave a comment and I'll be prompter with that than I was with this. Promise.

This icon was created from a quote someone made over at fandom_wank about some Twilight thing. It's... rather self-explanatory. Does anyone really disagree?

Jared/Katie is like-- threatening to usurp my love for Jared/Jensen. I don't even know where the desire to see them together came from. But I started wanting them together and then the fic and icons came. I don't manip photos together well so that's why making icons from the larger pictues I smooth together works semi-okay. You don't want to see the mess that occured with their hands at the bottom of the photo, LOL. But yeah, this is the first Jared/Katie manip and icon I made.

I made this icon for an SPN lims contest but I made it for the wrong week so I couldn't use it, LOL. I was all confused around then, I remember. Still love this icon, though. It's nice and bright and greeeeen.

I made a Jared/Jensen picspam for Valentine's Day this year that included a bunch of icons. Um, this was one of them?

This was made for an SPN Lims contest, as well. I still love it, even though I don't use it. The best icons I make sometimes don't come from much effort, honestly. This one I remember using selective colour to make the sky that vibrantly blue and to make the rear lights red to stand out. The I just seemed to be a nice, simple way to draw the eye to it.

If you haven't seen She's the Man, please get out of this post and do so, post haste! It's hysterical! I love Amanda Bynes so much. I didn't make that many icons from this movie, unfortunately, because my attention span is terrible, but I made this one and I loved it. It was the perfect representation of "OMG YAY!" that I'd found in a while and possibly since. I love the yellow text and how it contrasts against her blue dress suit. I remember this time of my iconning life being swayed toward more, vibrant, gorgeous colour and this movie helped a lot with that.

We live super close to the airport so I'm used to the sound of airplanes landing all the time here but this evening they're absolutely SONIC. One plane even TOOK OFF over our house and I'm not sure I've EVER seen that before. It was loud and, got to admit, kinda scary. But I like the sound, honestly, when it's more in the distance.
