fun_like_thatI'm rewatching What I Like About You and the first season is so funny! I have the rest of the seasons downloaded because they haven't been release on dvd yet (which blows!) so I'll be watching those next. I did a full re-watch of Doctor Who last week so I feel weird not watching something on dvd now.
I can only hope that this week at work is just a little bit better than last week was. It was so flat-out busy and irritating and bad and UGH. It could have been way worse but it was still pretty shitty. BUT. I do have next weekend to look forward to! New Moon on Friday and then my office Christmas party on Saturday, all with one of my besties!
One of the thing that's really sucked about the second job and being so busy and tired of late is that when I DO get some free time I never seem to get anything done, fandom-wise. I'm losing touch with Supernatural, I haven't been very interested in Melrose Place and I haven't made any icons, really, in weeks. Oy.
But but but, I had time to watch the new DW special! WOO!
Whoa. Tennant is going to go out with a bang. A sad, gut-wrenching bang.
I really liked this special. I think this one is the one I like best since Christmas, then Plant of the Damned or the Last Planet or whatever the hell that one was called with Michelle Ryan and then last year's Christmas special. I SUPER didn't like the last Christmas special. I liked it worse than Voyage of the Damned with Kylie Minogue the year before and I really, really didn't like that one before I re-watched it last week.
This episode made me sad because of the state that the doctor is in now. He's so sad and all alone and losing his shit in a big way. I can't wait for the last two specials, though. I mean, I'm going to miss Tennant but I'm excited to see the new doctor, too.
Thi episode was super creepy, though, imo. The faces of the infected were really gross and I love how something as innocuous as water can be so frightning. I don't know if I was following the story close enough to understand if the water ... things were still in the water when the settlement blew up or if it's still going to be there in the future. Because didn't they say that more people settle on Mars? These people were the first, implying there would be more? I wonder if this will be something that will pop up later in season 5? Who knows. Time will tell. The Time Lord will tell? Oh, so punny.
