fun_like_thatI uploaded the instrumental song used throughout the episode. It's called Eluvium - Genius And The Thieves. It was a s5 song in Queer as Folk that I recognized immediately. *shrugs*
I don't know what to think of this show anymore. I liked this episode, for the most part, but with the announcement that season three is going to be with a whole new cast are they really going to wrap everything up?
Before everyone jumps all over Michelle's back, calling her a selfish bitch for not listening to Jal, think back on the role Jal has played in everyone's life throughout the series. She's been the rock, the voice of reason. She hasn't exactly been the sharingest person with her problems in the past so when people have problems they go to her.
I'm not saying Michelle SHOULDN'T have stopped to listen to Jal, but given the way just about everyone's relationship has been with her in the past I wouldn't expect anything different.
Cassie's sudden 180 is a little irritating, to say the least. I wish we could have seen some more of her and Sid reconciling because to go from Cassie being a drugged out whore to being happy, flighty, ditzy Cassie again is like whiplash. Annoying whiplash.
Also, the hell? Is Cassie really going to write her finals in the next episode?
I kind of wish the show would go back to the Maxxie/Anwar/Sketch thing again. That was entertaining and although Sketch scared the absolute shit out of me and it was a bit over the top. At least it kept me entertained.
AND AND AND. THE FUCK? Has there been some hints of Chris' thing before this episode? WHAT THE HELL?! If he dies I won't care, for the record. Also, why was Jal freaking out when the orderlies came to take Chris? Wasn't he going for surgery? Nothing was happening to him, the machines weren't going crazy. Simmah dahn nah.
But Jal was gorgeous in this episode. And Cassie was looking better. The actress probably got to shower while filming this episode so she wouldn't look like a drugged out skank whore like the past few! Congrats, darling!
Is next week the last episode? Last week we got nine and next week will be the ninth so... CONFUSED.
