I really, really wanted Anthony to make it to Bryant Park based on the collection that he showed. I LOVED the dresses he made for his collection but during the course of the last episode I knew he wasn't going to be. Anthony's great for making pretty things but his mentality, always, that a woman has to look like a "lady" didn't allow for very much innovation. And as much as it pains me to think it I really don't know how he tied for first last week with Emilio with that dress he showed. There was nothing wrong with it, for sure, but had another designer been stronger it wouldn't have happened. It did flow nice when the model walked but it wasn't anything spectacular, IMO. But I still adore Anthony! He BY FAR had the most awesome attitude toward the whole thing and he was a breath of fresh air for the competition.

I really, really don't want Mila to make it to the final three next week. I'm not a fan of Jay's stuff, really, but I hope he can somehow best her in their face off for the final spot. I really, really didn't like her final collection (SO BORING! And so many shades of Inara's collection from last season which she only won because the other two didn't tailor as well as she can) because of her goddamn colour blocking (seriously, Mila. That is NOT a fucking point of view. That is BORING and STUPID and YOUR FACE). At least Jay's collection had some colour and some funky things happening with it. I wouldn't wear any of it but yeah. Want him to win the face off.

I'm super rooting for Seth Aaron to win it all. Emilio has really gone UGH in the past few weeks with his attitude and his mentality and all the gloating and his negativity. Seth Aaron has been consistent all season with awesome, awesome, tailored and structured clothes. He needs to win this. I'd SO wear some of his pieces. Maybe not a whole outfit but I'd take something from every one of his designs.

Also? Emilio's colours and designs in his collection were too '80's for me and ugly. So there. *sticks tongue out*

I really liked this episode! I still find Eleven very Ten-ish (especially with the attitude toward the end of the ep where he was different and knew better than the humans. That was very much part of the end of Ten & his bitterness) but it's okay. I don't MIND the two being similar and, in fact, it's probably easier that way to ease the fans into a new Doctor. He'll hopefully have time to develop his own personality over the course of the season and beyond.

I like Amy, too. She reminds me of a mix of Rose and Donna with her resourcefulness, the way she just does stuff (so Donna) and the relationship she's developing with the Doctor (Rose).

I was expecting this episode to be a bit creepier because of those things in the boxes but they weren't as terrifying as I thought they'd be. And Sophie Okinawhatever is super pretty. I really liked the idea that the royal bloodline continued. I also really liked the hint at things to come with the parting shot of the floating city being the crack in it. Perhaps Amy's house and Prisoner Zero are going to have more of an impact later on in the season? The crack in the ship looked a lot like the one the Doctor opened in Amy's room last week.

Positive feelings for this season, for sure!
