fun_like_thatKnow what's one of the worst things in the world? The hiccups. Especially the ones that last for more than a couple minutes and then you start to fear they'll never go away and you'll end up in the Guiness Book of World Records as having the longest hiccups ever.
The roofing fucked up our satellite dishes (for some reason we have two?) so now my feed keeps cutting out in sound and it's really pixelated. So I've watched the Rifftrax for Twilight and New Moon twice now. Thankfully it's Sunday and there's nothing on. Well, True Blood.
I'm already digging this season a bit more than the previous two, I think. I'm liking where a lot of the storylines are going and I really like that Sookie and Bill are separated, although I don't like how Sookie is all, "BEEL! BEEL! WHERE'S BEEL?!" That can stop any time, kthx. And who knows, maybe with Eric hanging around it will?
Lafayette and Terry for the win again in this ep. I'm glad Lafayette has some of his flair back. And Terry's just adorable. I with Arlene would tell him that he's going to be a dad.
I also wish the writers would stop screwing Tara over. It's obvious that this new vampire guy isn't going to be good for Tara. Well, at least it doesn't seem like it. If they do screw her over again I'm almost tempted to say that they should kill her off or something because jesus christ! How much bad luck and relationships can one girl have in three seasons? Between her mom being all religious crazy and her true love (???) being a killer thanks to a psycho monster she has had the worst couple years out of everyone, I think.
But did this new vampire dude possibly rid the house of the dead guy for Jessica and he's actually a nice guy? Somehow? Maybe trying to make sure Bill and/or Jessica didn't get in trouble for him? Or maybe the show is going to introduce zombies or something.
And speaking of the new vampire guy, what the fuck did he find in Bill's things? The paper he got out of Bill's file showed some sort of connection between Sookie's paternal grandfather, Earl. And then the newspaper clipping from when Sookie won when she was 10. The actual article just repeats the same couple paragraphs over and over, upon closer inspection, so there's nothing actually in the article to uncover.
Not as interested in Sam's storyline. Well, slightly moreso than I was last season with his connection to Mary Ann but I suppose a lot of that was to set up this season? I guess it depends on which storyline turns out to be bigger and I think it's going to be this one. I do not like his homicidal brother, who is likely going to turn out to be a psychopath or something.
Does anyone else want, like, a domestic fic starring Jason and Andy? They're so in love with each other it's not funny. Jason was so proud of himself when he tackled the meth dealer.
Bill. Whatever. I'm so fucking over him. He's so goddamn whiny. Although I loved how Sookie kind of gave a shoutout to the fans with her, "Sookeh" imitation. Still. Part of me thinks that him throwing the fire on Lenore or whatever the hell her name is was just a dream or something. Hopefully not because she was motherfucking annoying last season.
The werewolf storyline is intriguing to me right now. I like the Operation Werewolf part of it and how Eric and Godric (!!!) were hunting them as fake SS officers in WWII. I like that bit of history, although I hope they don't use it TOO much. I'd like to see how the operation developed and how far back it goes. More flashbacks, please! And Godric mentioned again that the vampire blood is sacred, or whatever. So that's something.

I think there's something about SAM that squicks me, tbh. This moment, as he's watching his brother strip down made me feel a little weird, as did the scene where he was dreaming about him and Beel showering together. But I'd at least give Sam/Beel a go to see if I could make it through the whole thing.
Totes OTP. They should be roommates.
Family oddities abound. But whatever Beel had these documents and clippings for the new vamp didn't care about that we saw. He flipped by them in a cursory manner, only looking for the photo.
He's relatively attractive, for sure.
