I've been searching for an hour or so now but does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to screencap from blurays?

I have PowerDVD with this new external bluray drive but the capture function is disabled for BRDs. If there's no clear tutorial can anyone recommend a program to use?

Thank you!

Hmm... I had heard power DVD, but what about VLC? Or KM player?

(No blu ray love from Apple, so I cannot cap from my blu-ray collectin DAMN!) I'm still looking for that program to hook the ps3 to my mac so I can somehow cap off of that. I think that's my pipe dream. :)

VLC doesn't support blurays yet. I dled KM Player but I've never used it so I'm not sure but I THINK you need something to decode the disk before it'll work? I was confused.

I did find out that there's a program called AnyDVD HD that, when run while PowerDVD is running the disk, will somehow allow the capture function to be used on Blurays.

I tried it out quickly and it does work (and didn't fry my brain too much during the install and disabling this and that and whatnot) but I don't know for how long it will as the AnyDVD program is paid so I have a dled copy. I think I followed the instructions as on the dl as they were so, in theory, I should be good to go. But we'll see.

Long comment short: I think I figured it out, LOL.

You are my hero. All I ever got was there was a way to make Power DVD do it - but never HOW.
